If Not You, Then Who?
This piece was chaotically created through an intense spur of seemingly unmanageable emotions. This piece is made for those who struggle with understanding how to love their bodies, for those who feel they only receive love when they look pretty or have the "correct" appearance, this piece is made for those who were told they were unlovable because they weighed the wrong amount, or dressed in the wrong clothes, didn't wear enough makeup, or shouldn't be wearing makeup at all. For the ones who never could figure out how to love their own appearance without everyone telling them how wrong they were for choosing their own style, for finally loving a body that was deemed not good enough by others. When learning to love your own reflection felt impossible. This is where the expression of this piece lies. In the learning to love what nobody else wanted to. If not you, then who?
